What is Hypnosis?

How Does Hypnosis Work?
Our minds function on both conscious and unconscious levels. In fact, most of our functioning is done unconsciously: we are generally on automatic pilot when we drive, walk, eat, etc. The deeply relaxing and focusing hypnotic experience calms us, as it creates an ‘opening' to the unconscious mind, which is in many ways is the most powerful and influential part of our minds.
Speaking directly to the unconscious by making suggestions, planting new and positive beliefs, and creating new mental visual pictures through visualization techniques, can effect tremendous change.

It has been proposed by recent researchers that we all enter into hypnosis at least once every 45 minutes or so.
